Hartman & Hartman Constructors hit the ground running in 1978 and we’re proud to say we’ve never stopped.

At our inception, we served the industrial construction needs of the coal industry — with our very first contract being one of the largest above-ground mining preparation facilities in the US.

Today, we’re proud to be a successful industrial contractor in the ever-expanding and booming natural gas industry, all while keeping a pulse and presence in our industrial construction base.
Innovation and continuous education have been essential to us since the very beginning.

Our hardworking team includes some of the region’s finest employees and subcontractors. We’ve made it our goal to respond to the industrial and natural gas market needs of the tri-state (Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia) region. As the market has continued to evolve, so have we. We’ve worked to identify areas of economic development aggressively responded by doing our best to provide needed services.

Our aim is to excel in exceeding the expectations of our customers.

With an unwavering commitment to safety, we offer experience in industrial construction and electrical work in the coal, power, gas, glass, manufacturing and steel industries.

Even with incredible growth, we’ve been fortunate to have a pattern of employee retention that is quite remarkable in our industry.

Nearly 40 years later we’re licensed in 13 states and the fruits of our labor can be seen not only in our growth and in the ways, but we’ve been able to give back to the communities we’re privileged to serve.
